my ass is sore

We woke up early this morning and watched Fellowship and Two Towers back to back (extended versions, of course). Which is why our phones were off, folks. We wanted to make sure we were well prepared for Wednesday.

Peter Jackson is god.

Yesterday we went to the Kohrt's to help prepare for Cassie's birthday party, she turned 4. The theme was pirates and princesses. We had a blast. We made pirate hats for the kids that they got to decorate. They got treasure chests with chocolate pieces of eight and beads so they could bead necklaces. We made a huge cardboard tunnel they had to crawl through. Good cake was had. Then we hung out at their house for dinner and conversation until about 9 when we came home. The cardboard tunnel was a lot of fun to crawl through....we got pictures somewhere of all of us adults going through it. The Kohrt's have a *kick* ass fireplace. I think I used about a quarter of their wood stack yesterday...sorry, guys. But I can't help it...must have fire.
