kitty update

Well, things aren't as dire as we thought they were, but it's definitely not good. We have to cancel our new year/weekend plans out to Broadalbin, NY to game, eat, drink and game for the long weekend.

Right now it's either an overactive thyroid or kidneys. They've taken blood and urine samples. She was definitely dehydrated, so they did an IV drip to re-hydrate her. It looks like she may have a serious left eye problem, but the vet couldn't take a pressure measure for glaucoma because it hurt her too much, they're going to try again on Friday. We need to watch her, right now we want to get her feeling better. She's lost 1.6 pounds since she saw the vet a year ago. They've given us special, high-calorie food to feed her for the next few days to try to get her strength up. She's definitely eating the wet, canned food (of course). So, we'll see how things go over the next week.
