new year's bleah

So, since we're not going to go game, drink, eat, drink, game in broadalbin, NY this long weekend, we've got no plans for tonight. Was invited to go see a band in Boston tonight, dress up, etc. but don't feel like going. Was invited to go to a friend's new year's party in watertown, closer than boston, but still too far to go when one isn't in the mood to be social. Ah, the couch. That's not too far to travel. I can socialize with the non-blogging husband while playing my xmas gift of Mario Kart. Yeah, that's it!!

I invited Snowboard Girl and Head Pigeons over but the spaghetti sauce I was making has meat in it and they've decided to go back to being vegetarian so they're not coming by...they also feel like staying inside and playing video games. I've got focaccia bread still rising, didn't time it right for the spaghetti (we were hungry - must eat now!!), so we'll have it as dessert.

Well, Chris has Mario Kart in the Nintendo....gotta go kick some ass!
