good stuff on the new commercial space industry
Check out Jerry's (Yes, I said Jerry. I grew up with his children. Yes, I'm name dropping. Deal with it.) comments and first-hand experience at the X-Prize press conference on Monday. Interesting tidbits:
* Pepsi and M&M sponsors
* Virgin Galactic has commissioned 5 space ships; Branson and Rutan to be the first passengers on the first flight
* Brian Binnie receiving astronaut wings from the FAA

i have had almost no motivation
to save for retirement.
i suddenly have a motivation
to get $400,000 in the bank
before i'm too old to make the trip.

thanks, jhimm. yeah, we're motivated to save $400K too now....and I'm hoping the trip options will be even cooler by the time we have 400K! Cause it's not going to happen anytime soon......i've joked about once the house is paid for, we sell it, live in poverty and go on the trip...
