are we there yet? are we there yet? are we there yet?
I can't believe I've got to deal with an 8:30a.m. meeting next Wednesday. I will be staying up as late as possible to look at the returns Tuesday. But if (when) things start to look wacky, I might as well go to bed and read the paper the next morning. Oh, wait, they're already looking wacky.
For those of you who think that the safety of drugs being bought in Canada is an issue, know this: it's a big, freakin' red herring. This guy sums it up pretty nicely.

Clue-ments:
don't bother to stay up late.
almost all the returns are going to be challenged.

i don't know anyone
other than politicians
who have a vested interest
in maintaining the phara lobby cash flow
who ever bring up the safety issue.

I'm so looking forward to/dreading this election it is not even funny! I just kind of want it to be over, and I hope that the results are definitive, even if the other guy wins. I don't want 2000 to happen again.

I think all the close-races are in the East or Mid-West. I suspect we will be able to tell if there will be an out-right winner by 10:00 PM or so...

I'm getting nauseous just thinking about Tuesday.

Speaking of Canadian drugs, the high-speed ferry service to Victoria from Seattle is now offering a special-price package that includes a flu shot in Victoria, once you clear the border. Last I heard, they were booked solid for a week ahead and were adding extra service. At this time of year, they're usually running at only 50-75% capacity at best.
I think I'm going to go out and canvass this weekend; it's one way to make the time go quicker and feel like I'm doing something...

I hope, hope, hope I'll have an appetite on Wed. I can't take another four years of this mentally addled, frat boy, pig fucker.

Why is it that so many of us are feeling this way about Bush and there are undecided's out there?? I just don't get it. On the other hand, I have some co-workers who have said they are voting for Bush. Which I don't get either.
I hope, too, that there isn't such a close victory for one person that anything is questionable, but I know I'm just being delusional.
