halloween costume choices

Would you let your 14 year old boy dress up as a male stripper for Halloween? Someone I know did. I actually asked them why they let him. And I got a lame, "Well, it's at a party where all the kids are around each other at the beach during the summer so it's not like they haven't been around each other in swimsuits and he's wearing pants, cuffs, cufflinks and a vest." Um. Yeah. Not quite the same thing. I just don't get it.

Clue-ments:

parents are helicopters
that can protect their kids
from _EVERYTHING_ on earth
until their kids hit puberty
then suddenly they can't do a thing
to control their children.

jhimm - I really hope that's not what's happening in this case because until this I had the biggest respect for their parenting skills. I've known this person for years and their kids are great. I'm surprised at this particular move and I hope their not caught in the concept of not being able to control their kids once they hit puberty. Yikes.
