you get what you pay for

Dude, you're upset because the Bratz doll you bought your little girl swears?!? That seems to be the least offensive thing about these dolls.

Clue-ments:

ok,
what's the point of offering a video clip
for this kind of story
if they bleep out the f'ing swears?

and i agree,
bratz dolls horrify me.
they even make -baby- bratz dolls,
which are even worse.

way to feed the child whore culture there, dad.
why on earth does you six year old
need a doll that wears make-up
and low rider jeans?

UGH.
so much hate.

jhimm - When we had our friends the K's over at the beginning of December we asked their 7 and 9 year old girls what they wanted for xmas. The 7 year old said, "Bratz!" All four adults said, "No!" in unison. And we're not even their parents.

I figure if you get your little girl something like a Bratz, then you can't complain about it swearing or "kids growing up too fast nowadays" and such.

it is, as i have been known to say,
motarded.

I don't think that I would buy something called Bratz for my Neice. I tried to get her a Barbie Red Corvette since I think she needs to play with cars, but the only toy store that I could bear to go to did not have any of them. As a result we settled for Princess stuff for her and Ninja Suff for my Nephew.

Next year, instead of toys, I will be making 529 contributions for them.

jhimm - motarded. HAHAHAHAHA. Awesome.

mess - I'm beginning to think that money is the way to go for all gifts. :-) We gave one of the K's daughters a gift of money to contribute to guitar lessons and nbh's brilliant idea of putting cash in the envelope instead of a check really made her eyes light up. I wonder if she'll really spend it on guitar lessons...hehe.

i am -so- glad i don't have to buy any gifts
for any minors.
all my brothers are grown,
as is my sister in law.
since my wife and i are the oldest,
so far there are no nieces or nephews
that we need to worry about.
although,
one of my brothers is now married
and another will be in about 5 months.
so that may change by christmas '08.
