life in a big company
I love it when you ask someone for the standard format to use and they hand you three different "standards". And without a tiny bit of irony on their face.
"Standards. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

I just got out a a meeting that the entire point was to establish a common template. We came up with 4 common templates.
