using biodiesel? watch out
Arrrgggh.....
Not only does the Illinois department of revenue want an elderly couple to pay a fuel tax (retroactive) on the biodiesel they have been creating from vegetable oil they get from a local restaurant but they also apparently consider them to be "fuel suppliers" and therefore must have the appropriate license to act as such.

Clue-ments:
This is just disgraceful! They are nearly 80 yrs old and driving a 21 year old car. They aren't selling the stuff or even giving it away there is no reason to harass these people at all. The gov't should be _paying them_ money to develop the technology to go large scale with it. But no, the gov't (and the oil companies) are just pissed that they aren't getting their cut. It's just ridiculous.
