i'm not sure i have any anger left in me with regards to this administration
March 21, Tony Snow:
"What we think is possible is that we've come up with what we think is an amicable and respectful way to enable the House and Senate, in their oversight responsibilities, to get access to everything they need to understand fully the process that led to a decision to replace eight U.S. attorneys."
March 22, Tony Snow:
"The executive branch is under no compulsion to testify to Congress, because Congress in fact doesn't have oversight ability."
There's this little thing called checks and balances between the three branches of government, Tony, but apparently you, like the rest of the Bush admninistration, just don't seem to give a sh*t.

Clue-ments:
When Bush declares martial law just before the next election so there cannot be a vote until the "danger" is past, then declares himself emperor of the USA, don't be surprised. -- Bjo

Bjo,
While I would like to think that the situation you describe could not happnen here, with the administration, I'm not sure they would not try it. I guess in that situation, the real questin would be how does the military react. If they refued to go along with the plan, then it he would end up arrested. If they went along with it, we would likey end up in a long armed struggle in which many would be killed.
