who ya gonna call?

In the midst of my freakin' out yesterday about my bad, bad rosacea flareup (It's NEVER been this bad - the topical I use isn't even working) I finally got ahold of my cosmetologist sister. She always has the answers. I love her.

Much better now. I did make it out last night and accomplished all of the things she told me to do. Folks, yes, for the time being I'm wearing a wee bit of makeup. And now I'm not obsessing about everyone staring at my blotchy, red face. Now I'm obsessing about people staring because I'm wearing makeup. BWAHAHAHA. Can't be satisfied, can I?

Clue-ments:

Hey, if it makes you feel any better, when we talked about it over the weekend, I thought it was barely noticeable. Sorry, I should've mentioned that sooner I guess.

Donna - Don't worry about not telling me. It's nice to hear, but I think I'd still be feeling the same way. :-)

HELL! I CAN SEE IT FROM HERE!

Kidding!

(Hit post early on that last.)

If I pay attention to something like this, I usually note one of two things:

1. That person is wearing too much makeup.

2. That person has leprosy.

Beyond that, I don't usually pay much attention.

Poz - Thank god I wasn't drinking something when I read this cause it made me laugh out loud. HAHAHA.

I _know_ intellectually nobody is paying attention, but emotionally, totally different thing.

Good news is that so far the people I've asked who will give me an honest opinion have said I'm not wearing too much makeup at all and it's actually a good look.

I will actually have to wear make-up again on monday for a video shoot. Something about lights and cameras - mike knows more. I don't know how people can stand it. I hate it.

Mess - It's only 11:34a.m. (I worked from home yesterday) here at the office and I'm already going batshit crazy at how much maintenance it is to "touch up" things. I can't stand it.

Dude, you'll probably be wearing heavier makeup than I do as they slab it on for tv/movies....

Mess has failed to inform you that he's playing Frankenfurter in that video shoot.

Posted by: poz at May 31, 2007 11:18 PM

Poz - I'd pay money to see that.
