i do not have a problem
I bought yet another laptop bag only about a year ago. Yes, I have more than one bag I can use to carry a laptop. I found myself searching around for a new one yesterday. Nbh accused me of a fetish. I told him I was just wandering around the internet looking at laptop bags, I wasn't going to _buy_ one (cough, maybe). this one is expensive, but man it's cute and professional enough to use for work. However, I think I may have found the _coolest_ laptop bag in the universe:
Front flap features a piece of ISS Soyuz TMA-3 landing parachute.

Clue-ments:
Someone should create a "rent-a-bag" business. In my opinion, at least half the reason for serial purchases is the buyer's remorse when you realize the bag simply doesn't suit your needs. But this discovery only occurs when you put the bag through its paces.
For instance, I purchased a computer bag for travel - the kind that slides over your wheeled carry-on handle. This bag was rendered almost instantly useless with the 3-1-1 plastic baggie rule, because it's not sized to carry computer AND toiletries.
Keen has a nifty new messenger bag. But I know you don't like messenger bags. Plus it's not designed for laptops. But have I helped to justify that potential purchase of one of the other two?

Elke - a bag/purse rental place would ROCK. Cause you know pretty instantaneously if you like the bag or not, so it's not like it'd be a long term rental. We could call it "Get It To Go" or "Take Out".
However, I would not want to be the person dealing with doing a quality control inspection after getting the bag back. God only knows what one would find in a hidden compartment.
