stress

I need to reduce stress in my life. I'm bottling up way too much of the crap going on at work. It'll probably cause me to have a heart attack. I'm just not having fun at work right now. And the thing is, that's when you should keep your sense of humor and stuff, yanno? Maybe I should take up meditation.

Clue-ments:

Take yourself completely seriously on this one, please.

In the past month, I have had one friend who made similiar statements have a heart attack (at age 44) and another drop dead of same (she was 34).

Really. Whether it is therapy to figure out what to do or finding a new job- take your own self seriously.

LOts o' folks love you.

Daniel - Thanks. I'm trying to. They say exercise helps with stress, and it probably is, but I don't feel like it is lately. I think I need to reach into the mental toolbox and brush up on some old coping mechanisms I seem to have forgotten.

Thanks.

I would suggest binge drinking. It always seams to work for me.

Seriously, keep working out. It does actually help.

mess - heh. I worked out tonight and I do feel better. I just want it to last at least until noon tomorrow.......

How long you been at that job? See if you can hold on 'til you get that degree! I'm sure there are other opportunities at that company of yours. You've got a boss you like. That's worth something.

(I'm due for a change myself) Last week my boss put up a new poster. It reads:
Hit Hard
Hit Fast
Hit Often

Yikes!

Ape - No way. Your boss did NOT put up a poster that says that!! How negative can you get?!

I've been here five and a half years.....have a great boss....there are things about the job that i love....and yeah, they're paying for the degree.....we'll see...I'm just thinking of a few things. One of which is a sabbatical to just go full time on school and finish up.
