bad day but random kindness
Instead of working on a presentation for VIP's today (I had even blocked out my calendar so nobody would schedule anything and I could focus), I had to deal with irritations. Troublesome co-worker (I hate people). Troublesome vendor (I hate vendors). And because of all the stupid shit I had to do in order to deal with the people and vendors, I didn't get _any_ time to work on the presentation. So I blocked out time tomorrow.
But all is not lost. I was waiting at Panera Bread for our order to come up and I got offered a free, right-out-of-the-oven baguette.
Baker: "Excuse me, I just learned how to make this bread and this is my first loaf and I would be honored (yes, he said honored) if you would take it."
Me: "Absolutely! What's your name?"
Baker: "Andy."
Me: "I'm Jenn. Thanks! And congratulations!"
oh, and I got promoted Tuesday.

Ulrika - the bread was fantastic (although it was a little uneven, one end was bulging). and thanks!
