nbh cracks me up
Me: "I'm on a wait list for a basic beading course."
Nbh: "You know that beading is a gateway craft to scrapbooking, right?"
hahahaha. Nbh knows how I feel about scrapbooking which makes this even funnier.

You know, if you move on to scrapbooking, we'll have to plan an intervention. Once you get on the hard stuff, it's difficult to break the cycle of addiction, but we'll all be there for you.

Nah....it's actually the gateway drug to being a jeweler. All the jewelers I've known were, deep down, total beadheads.

John - that thought did occur to me. but i have some specific ideas for why i want to learn to bead and none of them involve 'career change' or 'future jeweler'. But hey......
