omg, where has this person been?
I'm on a telecon where a demo of a system is being done and someone actually said, "As we enter the electronic age. You know, things like email, etc." *blink* Where has this person been?! Jesus, it's 2009, we ARE in the electronic age. I haven't heard this phrase since like....the 80's. HAHAHA. Thank god I was on mute when I laughed out loud.....

Remember BIX...? Byte Information eXchange.., those were the days. :-) Downloading a 20 to 30 KB gif-file was a major undertaking!
I went to the opticians this morning and ordered some really nice sunglasses. It reminded me of the fact that my very first on-line purchase was around 20 years ago.
I ordered a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses that I didn't even know what looked like! Fortunately I quite liked them and used them for years (until I eventually broke them).
